PS3 3D Date Set

Have far too much money? Don’t feel like splurging on an iPad, even though it seems to have some rather nice games? Then why not update that tired old 2D HDTV for a shiny new 3D TV? Now seems the perfect time as Sony have set the date for PSN 3D titles to go live according to Andria Sang. That’s right; on June 10th Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD and Mr. Pain will be getting 3D updates.

So what’s the downside? Well, the only real issue is that Mr. Pain will cost 300 yen (about £2.20) to unlock the 3D mode, Wipeout HD and Super Stardust HD will update to the third dimension for free.

But wait, there’s more! If you’re still not sold on spending all your money on 3D technology, Sony will throw in a bonus if you go for one of their 3D enabled Bravia TVs. That’s right, if you pick up a Bravia 3D TV, you’ll get a demo of Motorstorm 2 in 3D to really show off your new tech. What more could you ask for?
